May 10--A man was found dead on a Red Line train early Tuesday, police said.
The man, thought to be in his 40s, was discovered unresponsive about 2:20 a.m. in a train car near the 63rd Street station.
Police are conducting a death investigation. There was no apparent sign of trauma, a police spokesman said.
Red Line service was temporarily halted between 63rd and Roosevelt. As of about 7 a.m., trains were operating without significant delays.
