Sept. 30--Police are investigating the death of a man found lying outside Wednesday morning in the city's Gage Park neighborhood.
Police responded about 5:35 a.m. to a call of a man down near the 2600 block of West Garfield Boulevard, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.
When they arrived, officers discovered a 57-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, Pacheco said.
Police have opened a death investigation.
