Nov. 10--A 25-year-old man died Monday afternoon after being stabbed in southwest suburban Joliet, authorities said.
Rudy Valdez, of Joliet, died of multiple stab wounds at 4:50 p.m. at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, according to a news release from the Will County coroner's office.
Joliet police are investigating the stabbing as a homicide, but it was not immediately clear where and when the stabbing occurred, according to the coroner's office.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday.
