May 22--A 26-year-old man was shot to death in northwest Indiana late Saturday.
Billie Young suffered several gunshot wounds in the 500 block of Garfield Street in Gary, according to a news release from the Lake County coroner's office.
Young, of the 100 block of West 11th Avenue in Gary, was pronounced dead at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, the release said.
His death was ruled a homicide, and no other information was immediately available.
