April 13--A 43-year-old man was found dead outside Friday morning on the city's Far North Side in the West Ridge neighborhood.
About 8:20 a.m., police responded to the 7400 block of North Ridge Boulevard and found an unresponsive man lying on the ground, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic.
The man, identified as Roberto Saucedo of the 4800 block of Waller Avenue in Chicago, was pronounced dead at the scene at about 8:45 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Accroding to autopsy results released by the medical examiner Saturday, Saucedo died of cervical spinal injuries caused by a fall from height. His death was ruled an accident.
Police have opened a death investigation.
