Feb. 19--A 44-year-old man died in a fire in south suburban Harvey on Wednesday afternoon.
Crews responded to a coach house fire in the 15200 block of Lexington Avenue about 2 p.m., Harvey Fire Department Capt. Ron DeYoung said.
Shawn L. Bryant was pronounced dead at 3 p.m. at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
It took the fire department about an hour to extinguish the fire and clean up, DeYoung said.
One other occupant suffered a burned hand. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
