Oct. 11--A man shot and critically wounded last weekend in the Gage Park neighborhood died several days later, authorities said Saturday.

Jonathan Pulido, 21, was pronounced dead at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Sinai Hospital, after an incident Sunday in the 5300 block of South Sacramento Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office, which released his identification Saturday.

Pulido lived in the 5100 block of South Mozart Street, according to the medical examiner's office and public records.

The victim was a passenger in a pickup truck in the 5300 block of South Sacramento Avenue about 12:35 a.m. Sunday when someone in another vehicle fired shots, police said. He was hit in the back of the head and driven to Holy Cross Hospital, then transferred to Mount Sinai in critical condition.

No one was in custody in the killing, police said Saturday night.
