Sept. 02--A man died after he veered into oncoming traffic and hit a CTA bus head-on early Wednesday, according to police.
The man was driving north on Michigan Avenue near 107th Street about 2:30 a.m. when he hit the bus, according to police. He died at the scene.
Seven people on the bus were injured. Five were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, and two others who were injured refused treatment, police said.
The major accidents unit was investigating.
