BRIEF: Man dead, man hurt in Park Manor stabbing

May 21--A man was killed and another man was wounded during a stabbing early Friday in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side, authorities said.

The stabbing occurred around 5:30 a.m. inside a residence the 6900 block of South Prairie Avenue when a fight broke out among three "known male acquaintances," police said. One of the acquaintances stabbed the other two.

Prince Wilson, 24, was stabbed several times in the torso and face. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:55 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the left arm. He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

No one was immediately in custody as a result of the incident.
