Nov. 24--A 20-year-old man was ejected from his SUV after it hit a concrete median and flipped over on Elston Avenue early Monday, Chicago police said.
The Northwest Side crash happened about 3 a.m. in the 6100 block of North Elston Avenue, police said.
The driver of the SUV was going fast traveling north when it hit a barrier, rolled over and hit a fence and a light pole, police said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no one else was injured. The Major Accidents Investigations Unit is investigating.
