BRIEF: Man dead after Burnham fire

March 19--A 64-year-old man died in a fire late Friday in south suburban Burnham, authorities said.

James Bennett died of "fire related" injuries at his home in the 14500 block of Bensley Avenue in Burnham, according to a news release from the Lake County coroner's office.

Bennett was taken to Franciscan St. Margaret Health hospital in Hammond, where he was pronounced dead at 11:25 p.m., according to the coroner's office.

The fire is still under investigation, and no other information was immediately available.
