Nov. 05--One man was killed in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 4:15 p.m. inside a building in the 100 block of East 7th Street near Main Street, said Los Angeles police Officer Matthew Ludwig.
The victim, described as an adult male, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Ludwig said. He later died at the hospital.
The suspect was described as an adult man who fled the scene, Ludwig said.
It's unclear what prompted the shooting.
