Jan. 10--A man was critically injured in a garage fire Sunday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, Chicago Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters responded to the 6100 block of South Francisco Avenue about 12:30 p.m., Chicago Fire Department Cmdr. Frank Velez.
After putting out the garage fire, officials discovered that a man had been injured, and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Velez said.
The fire is under investigation.
