BRIEF: Man found unconscious in Logan Square hospitalized with head injuries

July 03--A man with serious head injuries was found lying on a sidewalk early Friday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Police officers found the 32-year-old unresponsive in the 3200 block of West North Avenue around 2:10 a.m., said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago police spokesman.

The man's arm was also fractured, Alfaro said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The man was unconscious and could not tell first responders what happened, police said.

The incident is still under investigation.
