Feb. 24--The Los Angeles Police Department has sealed off the area around an Elysian Valley home where a man is barricaded.
About 2:15 p.m., police received reports of a man acting violently and erratically in the 23800 block of Denby Avenue, Officer Muria Vanegas said.
Officers have issued calls for the man to exit the home, but he's allegedly refused to come outside and LAPD's SWAT team has been called to the scene.
Police said they are unsure if the man is armed and do not believe any other people are inside the residence, Vanegas said.
