Sept. 04--A 26-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were wounded Friday morning in a shooting on the West Side in the city's Lawndale neighborhood.

The shooting happened on Fillmore Street, near Francisco Avenue, said Officer Janel Sedevic, citing preliminary information.

The oldest victim suffered a wound to the head and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital. The boy was shot in his arm and took himself to the same hospital where he was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

No one was in custody and police were investigating.
