BRIEF: Man, 76, missing from South Side

Dec. 14--Police are asking for help in finding a 76-year-old man who went missing Friday evening from the South Side.

Charles Nolan Jr., was last seen about 5 p.m. Friday at the Progressive Baptist Church, 3658 S. Wentworth Ave. in the Bridgeport neighborhood, according to a statement from the Chicago police.

Nolan was seen driving a four-door, dark green 1993 Pontiac Bonneville, which has an Illinois license plate of 1336503, the statement said.

Nolan, who is diabetic and requires daily medication, also frequents the area in the 10200 block of South Halsted Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood and in the 11400 block of South Eggleston Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood, according to the statement.

Nolan wears glasses, is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He is African-American, has brown eyes, gray hair and medium complexion.
