BRIEF: Man, 65, reported missing from Hyde Park area

Aug. 02--Police are asking for the public's help finding a 65-year-old man who went missing Tuesday from the city's South Side.

Ronald Walker was last seen July 28 near the area of 5300 block of South Harper Avenue in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Police said he frequents the areas of the 6900 block of South Paxton Avenue, the 8300 block of South Stony Island Avenue and the 5200 block of South Princeton Avenue.

He was last seen wearing a blue cap, with a blue shirt, khaki pants and white gym shoes with blue shoestrings, police said.

Walker is described as a black man with a dark complexion, gray hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, police said.
