BRIEF: Man, 56, went missing a week ago on Far South Side

Oct. 30--A 56-year-old man went missing a week ago in the city's Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.

Ronald Allen was last seen in the area of the 11300 block of South King Drive. He walks slow and with a limp, police said.

Allen frequents the areas of 92nd Street and Cottage Grove Avenue, 99th Street and Emerald Avenue and 113th and State streets. Police said he may be carrying a book bag or overnight bag.

Allen is described as a black man with a medium brown complexion, gray hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs about 140 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Chicago Police Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
