BRIEF: Man, 28, who has autism, is missing from South Shore area

July 01--Police are asking for the public's help locating a man who has autism and went missing Tuesday morning from the city's South Shore neighborhood.

Johnny Farley, 28, was last seen about 7 a.m. Tuesday in the area of 77th Street and South Shore Drive. He was wearing a red shirt with white accents, dark bluejeans and brown boots.

Police said he may be in the vicinity of State Street and Roosevelt Road attempting to get to the Easter Seals Disability Services facility at 13th Street and Damen Avenue.

Farley is described as a black man with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
