March 27--A man found dead in an Evanston basement was shot in the head during a homicide, police said.
The victim, Star I. Paramore, 19, lived in the building in the 1200 block of Harvard Terrace, according to a news release from Evanston police.
About 5:35 p.m. Friday, Evanston police officers discovered the man's body inside the multiunit building's basement, according to an earlier news release from police, which said the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
The North Regional Major Crimes Task Force is helping with the investigation.
