BRIEF: Man, 18, went missing 5 days ago from city's South Side

Aug. 18--Police are asking for the public's help in finding an 18-year-old man who went missing five days ago from the city's West Englewood neighborhood.

Jordan Guild was last seen Aug. 13 in the 7000 block of South Claremont Avenue. He was wearing a blue polo shirt, blue or black jeans, and red-and-white Nike gym shoes. He may be carrying a black book bag and wearing brown framed glasses, police said.

Guild is described as a black man with a medium complexion, brown eyes and black hair worn in a medium-length Afro. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago Police Area Central Detectives Unit at 312-747-8380.
