BRIEF: Major delays reported on CTA Orange and Green lines

June 10--Major delays were reported late Tuesday afternoon on the CTA's Orange and Green lines because of an earlier switch problem near Roosevelt Road.

The CTA website said Loop-bound Orange Line trains and Harlem-bound Green Line trains were standing near the Roosevelt Road station earlier because of track switching problems.

CTA officials said that personnel were working to restore normal service and that commuters should allow extra time for travel.
