Dec. 22--2016 is already shaping up to be a big year for Lupe Fiasco.
The Chicago rapper tweeted this week that he is planning to release three albums next year. The first album is named "Drogas," he confirmed. The rapper, born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco and raised on the West Side, released the "Tetsuo and Youth" album in January.
He said a follow-up to his 2007 album "Lupe Fiasco's The Cool" is due in winter 2017.
Lupe Fiasco, 33, recently helped lead a Halloween parade through downtown. He has tour dates booked in January and February.
