March 29--Lunch with a view is heading to the Chicago Athletic Association hotel.
Cindy's (12 S. Michigan Ave., 312-792-3502), the rooftop restaurant with spectacular Millennium Park and lake views, will launch lunch service beginning April 5.
Unlike the menus at dinner and brunch, which offer plates sized for three or more diners, Cindy's lunch menu will feature individual-sized dishes.
Executive chef Christian Ragano's first lunch menu will includes appetizers such as green and white asparagus with braised morels, spring vegetable cavatelli, chilled English pea soup and strawberry-rhubarb trifle. On the sandwich front, there will be a lamb burger and hanger steak sandwich; also expect lighter tartines of crab and sea urchin.
