BRIEF: Lollapalooza ticket buyers have smoother day with Chase cards

March 26--A day after dozens of Chase credit card holders took to Twitter to complain about their inability to buy three-day Lollapalooza packages, sales of one-day passes seemed to be going more smoothly Wednesday.

"Thanks @Chase for not screwing up @lollapalooza tickets today," tweeted @KyleDunleavy1 on Wednesday. On Tuesday, he tweeted about problems trying to buy three-day passes that eventually sold out.

Frustrated consumers said Tuesday their transactions were denied for being potentially fraudulent and denied.

Late Tuesday afternoon, Chase apologized and said the problem had been fixed.

After single-day tickets went on sale Wednesday, fewer than 10 consumers expressed anger or worries on Twitter that their ticket purchases hadn't gone through.

"I'm in. Just got my tickets to @Lollapalooza 2015 this Summer. Thanks for not screwing up today too Chase," tweeted @LBeebe27. She said she called Chase last night and was assured it wouldn't happen again.

Lollapalooza itself tweeted Wednesday morning: "You can definitely use a Chase card today. They have assured us that everything is bueno for today."
