Aug. 10--WLS-Ch. 7 news anchor Linda Yu on Monday placed her three-bedroom Near North Side town home on the market for $1.48 million.
Yu, 68, anchors ABC 7's 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. newscasts and has been with the station since 1984.
Yu paid $488,000 in 1984 for the contemporary-style three-level town home. Built in 1973, the 3,800-square-foot unit has 3 1/2 baths, two balconies, a patio, walk-in closets, new hardwood floors on the second and third floors, and a private entrance
"It's a beautiful unit," listing agent Robert Picciariello of Prello Realty told Elite Street on Monday.
"I'm selling the house because my children are grown and on their own," Yu wrote in an email. "(It was) way too much house for me. I've already moved to a smaller home."
