BRIEF: LeBron James claims first in NBA jersey sales, again

April 14--King James remains the king of NBA jersey sales.

LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers jersey was the league's top-seller for the 2014-15 season, the NBA announced Tuesday, finishing ahead of Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

It marks the sixth consecutive year James has been at the top of the NBAStore.com list and the ninth time in his 12-year career that he's had the league's best-selling threads. The NBA didn't not reveal how many jerseys were sold for any of the players who made their top-10 list.

James returned to the Cavaliers last summer after playing four seasons with the Miami Heat. He wore No. 6 during his time in Miami, but went back to No. 23 upon his return to Cleveland.

James, a four-time NBA most valuable player and 11-time All-Star, is averaging 25.3 points and six rebounds per game for the Cavaliers, who are second in the Eastern Conference.

Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant and Chicago's Derrick Rose rounded out the top five in jersey sales.
