Aug. 23--A 39-year-old man was fatally shot Friday afternoon in south suburban Lansing.
Paul Forystek, of the 18500 block of Walter Street, was shot near his home and pronounced dead at 3:25 p.m., according to the county medical examiner's office. An autopsy report revealed that Forystek died of multiple gunshot wounds, and the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide.
Lansing police could not be reached Saturday for additional comment.
