Update: The Lakers stunned Houston in November, 99-98, on Steve Blake's game winner, but lost the next three games to the Rockets by an average of 18.3 points. Houston lost Chandler Parsons to Dallas in free agency, but acquired Trevor Ariza in a trade with Washington. Despite All-Star seasons from James Harden and Dwight Howard, Houston lost in the first round to Portland in last season's playoffs.
