BRIEF: Kyle Baun inks extension with Blackhawks

March 03--The Blackhawks and winger Kyle Baun agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension that will keep Baun with the organization through the 2017-18 season.

Baun, 23, began the season with the Hawks and played in two games before the was reassigned to Rockford. Baun has three assists in 22 games with the IceHogs.

The Hawks signed Baun last season as a free agent out of Colgate. He impressed during a three-game stint late last season the helped him earn the start with the Hawks this season.
