BRIEF: Kris Bryant returns to third base vs. Marlins; Javier Baez to work at 3B at Iowa

June 03--MIAMI -- The Chicago Cubs have yet to make an official announcement on the results of an MRI on Jorge Soler's left ankle, but Kris Bryant will return to third base Wednesday night at Miami.

Soler returned to Chicago for more tests and the results should be known soon. Soler leads National League rookies with 50 hits and 12 doubles.

After starting Tuesday night in left field, Bryant will return to his orginal position. Chris Coghlan will start in left field, with Junior Lake starting in right field in place of Soler and bat cleanup.

Also, Javier Baez will start working out at third base at Triple-A Iowa, according to the Des Moines Register. Baez, who has played primarily second base and shortstop, is under consideration for a promotion next week when the Cubs play interleague games at Detroit.
