BRIEF: Kris Bryant gets 3 hits, commits 2 errors

April 14--Chicago Cubs top prospect Kris Bryant raised his batting average to .381 after collecting three hits Monday night in Triple-A Iowa's 4-1 win at New Orleans.

There is a chance that Bryant, 23, who was sent to the minors despite batting .425 with nine home runs in 40 at-bats this spring, could get promoted to the Cubs if Tommy La Stella is placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a sore right side.

La Stella hasn't played since Wednesday.
