April 17--Third baseman Kris Bryant put the finishing touches on a brief but dominant stint at Triple-A Iowa.
Bryant hit a three-run home run in his final at-bat Thursday night to lead Iowa to a 10-7 win at New Orleans in the first game of a scheduled doubleheader.
After the game, Bryant was promoted to the Chicago Cubs while the second game was postponed because of rain.
Bryant, 23, the second overall pick in the 2013 draft, hit 55 home runs and drove in 152 runs in 648 at-bats covering 181 games in the minors.
