June 19--Chicago Cubs rookie Kris Bryant will carry a 14-game hitting streak Friday night into Target Field.
Bryant, the first Cubs rookie to have a hitting streak of at least 14 games since Jerome Walton collected a hit in 30 consecutive games in 1989, will bat third against Minnesota's Phil Hughes.
Bryant is batting .351 with 10 runs, five doubles, one triple, one home run and six RBIs during his hitting streak.
