BRIEF: Kris Bryant breaks out with HR, 3 RBIs

April 12--Kris Bryant put the finishing touches on a 3-for-4 performance Saturday night by smacking his first home run of the season in the ninth inning to cap Triple-A Iowa's 13-0 victory at Memphis.

Bryant, the Cubs' top prospect, hit a single, double and sacrifice fly before hitting his home run off reliever Boone Whiting.

Bryant batted .425 with nine home runs in 40 at-bats for the Cubs in spring training.
