Nov. 18--Eduardo Pelleissone, executive vice president of global operations for recently merged food conglomerate Kraft Heinz, paid $3.6 million on Oct. 15 for a five-bedroom, 6,500-square-foot contemporary-style mansion in Lincoln Park.
Built in 2005 and designed by the Wheeler Kearns architectural firm, the three-story mansion has 5 1/2 baths, wide-plank hand-scraped oak floors, high ceilings, custom elm built-ins and four fireplaces.
The agent who represented Pelleissone, Stephanie Cutter, could not be reached for comment.
The 13-room mansion was first listed in early 2013 for $3.99 million. The sellers increased their asking price to $4.25 million in February 2014 before bringing it back down to $3.99 million in September.
Pelleissone is the latest executive at the Northfield-based firm to buy expensive real estate.
As Elite Street reported last week, the company's chief financial officer, Paulo Basilio, paid $2.8 million in July for a four-story, 5,900-square-foot mansion in Lincoln Park.
The firm's senior vice president and general counsel, Jim Savina, paid $1.934 million in September for a house in Winnetka.
