Dec. 22--Kokandy Productions has announced the cast of the original mean-girl comedy "Heathers: The Musical."
The rock update to the 1988 cult film will feature Courtney Mack as Veronica, Jacquelyne Jones as Heather Chandler, Haley Jane Schafer as Heather Duke and Rochelle Therrien as Heather McNamara, along with Chris Ballou as J.D., Teresa LaGamba as Martha Dunstock, Garrett Lutz as Kurt Kelly, Denzel Tsopnang as Ram Sweeney and Veronica Garza as Pauline Fleming/Mrs. Sawyer. The cast also includes Caitlyn Cerza, Diego Colon, Carly Cozad, Colin Funk, Casey Hayes, Meghan Shanahan, Andrew Sickel and Andrew Spatafora.
James Beaudry will direct, with music direction by Kory Danielson and choreography by Sawyer Smith.
Heathers runs Feb. 28 -- April 24 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave.
