BRIEF: Kobe Bryant is back in Lakers' starting lineup tonight for game against Denver

March 03--Kobe Bryant, who missed the last two Lakers games because of a sore right shoulder, will start at small forward tonight against the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center.

It is Bryant's last game playing in Denver, the 20-year veteran's farewell tour pulling into another stop.

Lakers Coach Byron Scott said the plan is to play Bryant for about 20 minutes.

Including the two days the Lakers had off to practice this week, Bryant has had six days to rest his shoulder.

"I think giving Kobe rest always rejuvenates him, and the thing with him is when he is away from the game for a little while, he tends to miss it," Scott said. "He just wants to get back out there because of his competitive nature."

Bryant is averaging 17.1 points on 35% shooting, 27.3% on three-point attempts.
