BRIEF: Kevin White adjusting to NFL speed, Jay Cutler

June 10--Kevin White continues to adjust to the NFL with each practice. The Chicago Bears' first-round rookie receiver acknowledged his ongoing mental challenges Wednesday afternoon after the Bears' ninth organized team activity of the spring.

"I'm hard on myself a lot," White said. "I just don't want one play to beat me up twice. That's what I've got to get better at."

White has rotated through different levels of the depth chart during practices, as the new Bears' coaching staff tries personnel combinations and focuses on player development during the offseason program. Play "is slowing down just a bit," he said.

The seventh-overall pick also is familiarizing himself with quarterback Jay Cutler.

"He wants to have everything down early, quick," White said. "He likes everything to be on time, but he's willing to help all the receivers."
