BRIEF: Kenan and Kel reunite for 'Tonight Show' sketch

Sept. 24--Nearly 20 years after the release of their movie "Good Burger," Chicago native Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson reunited for a "Good Burger" sketch on "The Tonight Show" Wednesday.

Mitchell, 37, reprised his role of "Good Burger" employee Ed, but now he's been promoted to supervise Jimmy Fallon's character. Thompson, 37, played "hangry" construction worker Lester Oats, not his '90s character Dexter Reed.

The movie stemmed from Good Burger sketches on the Nickelodeon series "All That."

"We've been wanting to get back together," Mitchell told E! News. "It was just about the right project...it felt like home."

Mitchell, who studied at the ETA Creative Arts Foundation on the South Side, stars on Nickelodeon's "Game Shakers." Thompson is a "Saturday Night Live" cast member.
