Feb. 25--With 3 1/2 years of major league experience, Chicago Cubs reliever Justin Grimm has enough knowledge to gauge the friendliness of clubhouses.
And based on his first five days of workouts, Grimm believes the Cubs have a strong bond that extends outside their clubhouse.
"You look around the clubhouse, I don't think there's a bad guy in here," Grimm said. "They're in it to be a part of history. I feel like it helps, too, because the wives like each other."
Grimm married Gina Nuccio of Naperville 3 1/2 weeks ago, and the couple appreciates the support they've received.
"With that being said, that makes things easier off the field," Grimm said. "They make things click as well. Everybody is a good guy.
"Why not be friendly? It makes the job easier and more fun."
