BRIEF: Juno, Lettuce creating new sushi restaurant

March 12--Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises will team with Juno owners Jason Chan and B.K. Park to create Nishiguchi, an intimate and innovative sushi restaurant.

Nishiguchi (2300 N. Lincoln Park West, no phone yet) will be built into a former private dining room next to Intro restaurant, which LEYE opened in February. Nishiguchi is shooting for a spring debut.

The restaurant will have only 40 to 45 seats; reservations will be available by prepaid tickets via the online Tock system.

"(Nishiguchi) will be something really small, but powerful," said Chan. "It will be something really different, something no one has seen. We hope to knock Chicago's socks off."

Chan said his other restaurant, Juno (2638 N. Lincoln Ave.), will remain in operation.

"These will be two very different concepts," he said of Juno and Nishiguchi. "Apples and oranges."
