BRIEF: Julia Louis-Dreyfus slated to host 'SNL' next month

March 31--"Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to host "Saturday Night Live" April 16, show reps announced Thursday.

Louis-Dreyfus, a Northwestern University alumna whose son Charlie Hall plays basketball for the Wildcats, is slated to appear with musical guest Nick Jonas. This will be Louis-Dreyfus' third time as host, according to NBC.

Russell Crowe is scheduled to host "SNL" April 9 with country singer Margo Price, an Illinois native.

The fifth season of HBO's "Veep" is set to premiere April 24. "SNL" airs on NBC at 10:30 p.m.
