BRIEF: Jonathan Herrera receives rare start for Cubs

May 24--PHOENIX -- With the Chicago Cubs entering a stretch of playing two games in a 25-hour stretch covering three time zones, manager Joe Maddon is making adjustments.

Jonathan Herrera will receive a rare start Sunday when the Cubs try to take the third and deciding game of their three-game series at Arizona.

Herrera starts in place of Addison Russell, and more position players could receive a break Monday when the Cubs face Washington at Wrigley Field.
