June 04--A jogger was attacked while running near a bike path in Elgin, police said Thursday.
The woman was running along McBride Street north of Kimball Street just before noon Wednesday when she was "thrown to the ground" by a man, Elgin police said in a statement.
A biker saw what happened and stopped to help, police said. The attacker fled and was still at large.
