Wednesday's recap: Blackhawks 4, Oilers 3 (OT)

Nov. 19--Marian Hossa gave the Blackhawks a 4-3 overtime victory over the Oilers when he scored 1 minute, 8 seconds into overtime. It gave the Hawks a good start to their first game of the circus road trip.

Shaw scores -- somehow

Andrew Shaw scored the go-ahead goal at 11:44 of the third period on a goal that had a high degree of difficulty. Shaw was falling down in the slot when his stick got a hold of the puck and flung it toward the net. Somehow, the puck beat Oilers goaltender Anders Nilsson to put the Hawks ahead 3-2.

14 a nice number for 88

Patrick Kane tied a career high by tallying a point in his 14th consecutive game when he assisted on Duncan Keith's power-play goal at 7:26 of the second period. Kane controlled the puck along the right circle and slid the puck to Keith, who was streaking in down the slot. Keith deflected Kane's pass into the net past Oilers goaltender Anders Nilsson.

Anisimov sets up Panarin

Artemi Panarin made the score 2-0 Hawks with a goal in close on Nilsson, but the play was set up by a touch pass from center Artem Anisimov, who got the puck through traffic to Panarin.

Teravainen exits

Teuvo Teravainen left the game in the second period and did not return because of an upper-body injury. It was not immediately clear what caused Teravainen's injury or the extent of it.
