May 23--After center Antoine Vermette and winger Teuvo Teravainen were healthy scratches in Game 3, the two were back in their usual roles on the Blackhawks' third line at the Hawks' morning skate ahead of Game 4 on Saturday.
Vermette was centering the third line between Teravainen and Patrick Sharp, a line that had played the entire series against the Wild together and the first two games against the Ducks.
"I just think there were some good stretches in Game 2, and that line can be a factor offensively," Quenneville said. "Defensively they've been reliable as well."
But in Game 3, citing the need to get fresh players in the lineup after a marathon triple overtime game in Game 2, coach Joel Quenneville sat Vermette and Teravainen in favor of Kris Versteeg and Joakim Nordstrom and mixed up his bottom two lines, which had been productive.
On the fourth line, Marcus Kruger was at center with Andrew Desjardins and Andrew Shaw flanking him on the wings.
Kruger, who did not take a faceoff in Game 3, said he was healthy and expected to take them Saturday.
"It's how the game goes on and who's doing good, stuff like that," Kruger said. "It's always different."
