Sept. 02--Joakim Nordstrom will stay with the Blackhawks next season.
The 23-year-old forward agreed to terms on a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday.
Nordstrom played in 38 games last season and tallied three assists while appearing in three postseason games. Nordstrom, 23, played parts of the last two seasons with the Hawks while bouncing back and forth between the Hawks and Rockford of the AHL.
With training camp set to begin Sept. 18, center Marcus Kruger, who was a restricted free agent, remains unsigned.
