BRIEF: Recap: Bulls 102, Hornets 97

Nov. 14--The summary: Jimmy Butler scored 27 points, Pau Gasol added 19 points and 13 rebounds and Joakim Noah grabbed 18 rebounds in a reserve role as the Bulls hung on to avenge their 25-point loss with a 102-97 victory over the Hornets. Nicolas Batum's 28 points led the Hornets.

Turning point: Pau Gasol blocked Kemba Walker's reverse layup in the final minute with the Bulls up three on a three-shot possession by the Hornets. Butler followed with the clinching jumper with 5.4 seconds left.

Tribune player of game: Joakim Noah. He changed the fourth quarter with his defense and rebounding.

Key number: The Bulls prevailed despite getting outscored by 33 points from beyond the arc. The Bulls' streak of 11 straight games with at least seven 3-pointers ended.
